Protity Celebrates Pahela Baishak-1417
Protity celebrated Pahela Boishak, 1417, on the 24th of April 2008 at Don Moore Community centre, Carlingford. Protity welcomed the first day of the Bengali new year of 1417, this time the celebration included a musical soirée by Protity members, poetry recitation and Rabindra sangeet shilpi Mita Haq came from Bangladesh as a special guest artist. This was her maiden tour to Sydney and it was an excellent performance.
