The Bangladesh Christian Society celebrated Christmas on the 25th of December at the St. Joseph Auditorium in Rockdale, with all the Bangladeshi Christian community as well as some invited guests. Dr. Ronald Patro, President; and G.S. Lawrence Barrel nicely hosted the program. A prayer was made, followed by lunch. There was a cultural function as well, where many of the adults and children performed songs or dances. John Martin once again hosted a variety of fun and energetic games for the children. And last, but definitely not least, Santa Clause once again made the long journey from the North Pole to Rockdale. He sang Christmas carols with the children before distributing their presents. The day ended with a raffle draw where there were many great prizes to be won.
