Bangladesh High Commission Canberra celebrated the 38th anniversary of Victory Day
Bangladesh High Commission Canberra celebrated the 38th anniversary of Victory Day on Tuesday, 16 Dec 2008 at the Bangladesh High commissioner’s residence, Canberra. There were many Bangladeshi expatriate community members, social activists, members of the media personnel and cultural activists who came to celebrate the day. High Commissioner, H.E Lieutenant General Masud Uddin Chowdhury and Mrs. Jasmin Chowdhury, along with high commission staff, welcomed all the guests. During the evening, there were a few fun events such as bowling, basketball and a women's pass the parcel. The program ended with the distribution of prizes.
