Aporajita Mostofa was born in 1996. She started learning dance from her mother when she was one and a half years old. She performed on stage first when she was two and a half. At the age of 7 on her birthday she performed pure Kathak dance in front of a packed auditorium with live accompaniment for an hour. This year in the BTV organised national competition 'Notun Kuri' she received a gold medal for classical dance. She is a grade four student of Sunbeams school."
