88th Birthday Celebration of Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman.
Bangabandhu Society of Australia organised the celebration for the Independence Day of Bangladesh and the 88th birthday of Sheik Mujibur Rahman at Macquarie Fields Auditorium. The auditorium was full with people. During the first part of the program, many people gave speeches about the life and sacrifice of the great leader, Sheik Mojibur Rahman. Mr. Abul Hashem (GS of UK Awameleague) was the chief guest of the program. A cultural event was held where many local artists took part for recitation and singing, followed by dinner. The organisers were very happy with the success of this even.
