?        Improvement in the documentation and analysis of Bangladesh ?s environmental problems through conferences and publications (Bangladesh Environment).

Join BEN and Participate in Its Fundraising!

BEN is one of the few success stories of NRBs being able to influence policies and making a difference on the ground. BEN?s moral strength comes from the fact that it is 100% member funded. BEN does not seek fund from foreign donor agencies. BEN is trying to spread among Bangladeshis the spirit of self-reliance. Success of BEN is a success of NRBs. We invite all NRBs to come forward to own this success and help BEN be self-reliant and independent.

Zero Overhead, Transparency and Open Books

BEN?s fundraising goals are modest, and there are no overhead costs charged to the contributed amount. BEN members carry out the overhead functions using their personal resources. The ENTIRE fund raised is sent to Bangladesh to support activities of sincere environmental activists and experts inside Bangladesh , gathered primarily in Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA). BEN considers itself a part of Bangladesh ?s environment movement as represented by BAPA. BEN?s accounts are audited and open to public scrutiny.

Contributions are Tax-Deductible

BEN is recognized by US IRS (Internal Revenue Service) as an organization that falls under the IRS Code 501(c)(3), and hence donations to BEN are tax exempt. BEN?s Federal Tax ID # is 58-2454949.
