Last night, Bangladesh won its first ICC Twenty/20 World Cup Cricket
match with West Indies by 6 wickets. Congratulations. West Indies
lost their both matches (first against South Africa) and are going
home.

Irrespective of the result with South Africa on Saturday, Bangladesh
will advance to the next stage - Super Eight. Bangladesh will play South
Africa on Saturday September 15 (Sunday 2 am Sydney time).

Last night, Bangladesh played very well and restricted West Indies to
8/164 (danger man Chris Gayle was duck) in 20 overs, and reached its
winning target 4/165 with 2 overs to spare. Ashraful Alam, the captain
of Bangladesh Team top scored with good support from Aftab Ahmed. New
Bangladesh Coach did a good job in instilling confidence, courage and
team spirit among Bangladeshi players, and it showed. Well done
Bangladesh and all the best for the rest of the tournament.
